Sunfood Wildcrafted Shea Butter
Our shea butter is so pure, you can eat it! Why would you put anything on your body that you wouldn’t put into your mouth? Anything you put on your skin (your largest organ) can be absorbed directly into your blood stream. The ultimate moisturizer for you and your family especially during winter months, shea butter can dramatically improve dry skin, itching, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, soreness, wounds, burns, scarring and stretch marks. You can also use shea butter as a substitute for dairy butter in recipes and it is an excellent source of healthy fat and vitamin E.

The Sunfood Difference™
Our shea butter is 100% pure, raw, unfiltered and unrefined so that it retains all of its inherent beneficial properties. Wild-crafted and non-GMO, it contains no additives, artificial fragrances or colors, and can be eaten or applied to the skin. Our shea butter is produced by a women’s cooperative in Ghana, which not only helps to bring economic stability to the villages, but gives the women economic power that they have not traditionally held.
Shea butter is an oil/butter extracted from the seed of the African karite tree, which grows wild on the savannahs of West and Central Africa. Shea butter is abundant in natural tocopherols (vitamin E), cinnamic esters, unsaponifiable fats and offers unparalleled moisturizing properties which can alleviate numerous skin conditions. It also serves as natural UV protection, helping to prevent premature aging. Shea butter is food for the skin!
