Viktoras Kulvinskas prophesied that the raw-food message would reach the masses through music. The Healing Waters Band has arrived to fulfill that prophecy.
The Healing Waters Band is an all-raw rock band. The members include David Wolfe (drums), Nature's First Law staff members Dave Steinberg (guitar, vocals), Tony Thorpe (bass, vocals), Jackie Ayala (vocals), and Bill Greene (keyboards).
The band's debut CD "This Cooked Planet" is a musical masterpiece produced to big label standards by Rick Carr and mastered by multi-platinum legend Bob Hata (Van Halen, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, etc.)
The band is poised to take the raw-food message to the world stage. Tony Thorpe is the lyricist for the first nine songs. David Wolfe helped write Jonathon's the Name. Jackie wrote the lyrics for The Lounge Song.
Tracks:- This Cooked Planet
A tongue in cheek look at international banking, getting out of the matrix, the medical conspiracy and alternative fuels.
- Tribute
A tribute to the Beatles. A beautifully written, melodic compilation of Beatles' lyrics and song titles. All you need is love is the overall theme.
- Jonathon's the Name
A hilarious look at the life of Jonathon Bailey, and eccentric Englishman who lived life to the fullest and touched many hearts.
- Raw Food Girl
A true story of Tony falling in love with a raw girl and ending up with a broken heart. This is truly a musical masterpiece of the highest level. Tony is still recovering but is open to doing it all again!
- The Healing Waters Song
This was written about the raw food retreats at Eden Hot Springs and the wonderful times had by all. Soaking in hot springs, learning astanga yoga, eating the best food ever, drinking cane juice, healing our bodies and saying goodbye to fear.
- Stalker Girl
David Wolfe actually has had many stalkers who made it a full time job to follow him around in hope of conceiving a child. This is the story of one such stalker who has since retired but her efforts will be always remembered by all parties involved.
- I'd Better Keep On Dreaming
This is a look at adolescence in during the 80's. Tony went back in time to express some of his frustrations with life in England as a youth looking for some meaning to his life.
- Goodbye Burger World
The vegetarian theme song for the new millennium. A concise and to the point look at the inevitable demise of factory farming and burger joints. This song delivers a powerful message for all to hear.
- Double Headed Serpent Woman
This song is plain crazy. Tony had chicken pox when he wrote it and the song is absolutely nuts. It's about an alien woman who tries to seduce Dave Steinberg in order to start a hybrid race. Musically, it's like a raw version of "Wipeout."
- The Lounge Song
A story of awareness exploding. Twelve minutes of enchantment from the musical genius of Dave Steinberg and the lyrics of Jackie Ayala. This is truly a cosmic saga of the soul. This song is groundbreaking in it's beauty and musical intensity.
