Plant Manager / Food Manufacturing

We are in need of a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Plant Manager with full oversight of a key facility.  We must have someone that has Plant Management experience and food experience is strongly desired along with a four year degree. This is a comprehensive role with complete oversight of the facility, safety, quality, production, processing, packaging, labor and maintenance.  This is hands on role in a smaller facility with approximately 30 employees running various SKUs. Candidates must have 3 - 5 years experience in a food manufacturing facility and they will manage production, receiving, processing and sanitation activities  reporting to the Chief  Operating Officer.  The PM will have relationships with Procurement, Quality Control, HR, Sales, Accounting and Distribution Services to ensure complete continuity of operations. Must have outstanding leadership skills and have a strong quality background and be aware of the laws and requirements of the food industry.  Must be able to direct, control and manage production and warehouse departments to maintain plant efficiencies and standards.  Must also perform all duties necessary to meet Safe Quality Foods (SQF), company, and/or Government requirements/standards as prioritized by the company.

Preferred job requirements include:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a food manufacturing environment
- 3 - 5 Years experience managing others
- Bachelors degree in related discipline
- SQF experience
- Must have a commitment to safety and quality
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communications skills - oral and written
- Excellent team building skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Must be organized and able to multi task

Product Specialist / Inside Sales Representative

- Selling at designated price points to ensure proper gross margins
- Evangelizing Sunfood products for customer inquiries
- Work seamlessly with other employees
