Description
Incan berries are a Sunfood term for a Goldenberry; however, they are the same amazing berry! Grown in the mineral-rich soils across the Peruvian Andes, sweet and tangy Incan golden berries help to strengthen your body in times of stress and improve circulation. Incan berries, one of the lost crops of the Incas, are an adaptogenic food considered to be the goji berry of South America, containing an extraordinary level of protein that outpaces goji berries by 2-3% on average. You're sure to fall in love with Incan berries as they help support your immune system and play a crucial role in detoxification, increasing your health and wellness with every bite.

| Benefits | Packed with vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, niacin and phosphorous, Sunfood Incan Golden Berries also contain pectin, which helps to regulate the flow of food through the digestive tract as well as lower cholesterol levels and prevent surges in blood glucose, making it a great food for those with diabetes. Incan berries are also rich with bioflavonoids, also known as vitamin P, which studies have shown to demonstrate anti-sclerotic, anti-viral, anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory, antihistamine and antioxidant properties. Preventing the buildup of atherosclerotic plaque in the blood vessels and improving capillary strength, the bioflavonoids found in these unique berries also help enhance the use of vitamin C by improving its bioavailability and protecting this fragile nutrient from oxidation. |

- not too sweet, but refreshing Review by aniu

I have problems with blod sugar level, so my doctor recomended me to snack every 2-3 hours on a cracker or a salteen. Because I do not like bread and switching to raw, I decided to try dry fruit instead. After I tried these berries, I can say I am never buying dried fruit from regular grocery stores AGAIN! Not only these berries are yummy, but they are very natural. I have tried Incan Berries in deserts, but I never knew they tasted soo good as dry. Personally, I do not like too sweet, so I would not recommend it to someone who is looking for a rich, sweet taste. They taste more like cranberries, which is very refreshing in hot TX weather.Rating

The first thing I thought of when I first tried Sunfood Incan Berries was that they taste like the sour skittles I used to binge on. Incan Berries taste amazing and I can't believe how nutritious they are. I gave some to my friend who eats a "regular unhealthy diet" and even he said they taste great, he actually asked where I got them. (Posted on 8/17/11)Rating
