Agave (ah-GAH-vay) is a delicious, organic, mineral-rich nectar that comes from the core of the blue agave plant. Known as “aguamiel” (honey water) in Mexico, agaves are large, succulent plants similar to aloe vera in appearance. Blue Agave is higher in fructose-producing carbohydrates than other types of agave, and is considered to be the finest agave in the world.
