We’ve been working for years to find a cold-processed, broken cell wall chlorella. What is Chlorella?

Chlorella is an algae, a tiny, microscopic, single-celled plant that grows in fresh water. Our particular strain is called Chlorella pyreneidosa. The abundance of chlorophyll gives it a deep emerald-green color. Chlorophyll plays a critical role in human health as it closely resembles the hemoglobin (red blood cells) in our bodies and is effective against pathogenic bacteria. Chlorella can help strengthen our immune system and is alkaline forming food known to help slow the aging process, stabilize blood pressure and prevent anemia.

Our chlorella tablets are processed from 100% raw chlorella powder. Cultivated in outdoor, mineral-rich, fresh water pools, the chlorella is gently dried after harvest and the cell walls are broken using a unique chemical-free, centrifuge process. The remaining powder is then stamped into tablets using just enough pressure to hold the tablets together. There are absolutely no binders, fillers, or additives. The entire process is carefully monitored by microbiologists to ensure the highest standards of quality and hygiene. We then perform extensive testing to confirm that the finished product is clear of heavy metals and radiation so that our chlorella is of the utmost purity.

There are many strains of chlorella on the market but our strain, Chlorella pyreneidosa, is known as the King of Chlorella, and is the only species that contains significant quantities of CGFs (Chlorella Growth Factors) which nourish and replenish the body and can activate T-cells and B-cells which help our bodies fight against viruses, cancers and bacteria. CGFs are not found anywhere in nature except in chlorella.

I was born anemic, asthmatic, and I am allergic to yeast, mold and gluten. I'm a former athlete, and as I approach 40, my energy level and breathing ability is declining faster than normal. I have been taking another very popular brand with a similar name (about 15 pills per day). It was a great detox, but when I say they are nothing compared to these pills, I mean it. I took 5, and experienced a better overall sense of energy and well being. I can breath, I slept for 8 whole hours, something I have not been able to do for over 5 years. What's even funnier, when I visited my ENT, and placed on my listing of vitamins, supplements, etc. He said, "Hey, whose the health nut?" I laughed, and asked, "What do you mean?" and he said, "Chlorella, that's good stuff". Then I said, "So why in the heck didn't YOU recommend that I take it?" He just chuckled, and said, "Then I would be out of business, but honestly, I just didn't think about it." I admit i'm a little new to raw food and superfood, at first i didn't think i was gonna like these. I mean algae, really? The first day i didn't like them, the second day i started getting used to them, the third day they started reminding me of peanuts, the fourth day without thinking i started just popping them in my mouth 4 or 5 at a time, and since then they've been one of my favorite snacks(that happen to be awsome for you) and there you have it. : ) (Posted on 8/26/11)
