Description

Dulse is a red seaweed with flat, fan-shaped fronds that grows from the temperate to frigid zones of the Atlantic and Pacific. Like all sea vegetables, Dulse is an excellent source of Iodine and manganese which activate enzyme systems.. It also contains a significant amount of protein compared to land vegetables. This alkaline sea vegetable is rich in iron (10% DV/serving) and a good source of some of the B-vitamins and trace minerals.  Dulse seaweed is dry and keeps for many months.

Recommended Usage

Whole Leaf Dulse is soft and chewy, with a distinctive taste and a rich red color. It doesn't require any soaking or cooking, which makes it a great snack to be enjoyed right out of the bag. It's a colorful salad ingredient; is tasty in soups and boosts the flavor of any sandwich creation. Use straight out of the bag!  Delicious!
