The pure water dissolves the salt and creates a brine solution that is then gently dried by the desert Sun. What remains are the pure, mineral rich crystals of Kalahari Desert Salt.

You wouldnt think salt made that much of a difference, but I bought this because of the price and that I was tired of wasting those small salt grinder containers. Wow, not only do i have the savings I wanted, the salt actually adds to my recipes! And now I can say that parts of this recipe come from Africa :) (Posted on 4/24/12)Rating
