Chuchuhuasi is earthy and robust flavored. Steep 3/4 teaspoon in 8oz hot water for at least 10 minutes. It also makes a fantastic base to cacao drinks. Simply add cacao powder and blend. Also adding some form of sweetener (such as yacon syrup, agave nectar, raw honey, lucuma, etc.) makes a wonderfully tasting beverage. For a real treat, combine Chuchuhuasi tea with Pau d'Arco and Cat's Claw as use a base for a smoothie made with raw, organic cacao and maca powders.
