Hemp Seed Milk
This recipe is the simplest nut milk recipe you will find! It doesn't even need to be strained! Make this when you are pressed on time. Heat for a nutty latte...
Ingredients:
1/4 cup shelled hemp seed
1 cup water
Sweetener (agave nectar, raw honey, coconut palm nectar)
Directions: Place seeds in a blender and add a small amount of water (approx. 1 inch above the seeds). Turn the blender on at multiple speeds and agitate the seeds so that they become a thick hemp cream. Then add either vanilla, agave nectar, or honey, or perhaps only a ripe banana. Serve the blended liquid as a thick drink, or add water to taste for a lighter hemp milk. (this is what the picture shows below) Optional: add berries, peaches, and/or papaya.
Make chocolate hemp milk by simply adding 1-2 T of raw cacao powder!
