Cultivated in the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador Rainforest Mint Guayusa (why-you-sah) is similar to yerba mate but with a fresh, delicious taste. It is an excellent source of vitamins, antioxidants, and amino acids, which can help provide you with the mental and physical energy you need throughout the day. Rainforest Mint Guayusa contains a blend of organic guayusa leaves and organic peppermint for a smooth, minty, earthy taste. This wonderful tea offers about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of black tea or coffee (80-100mg), but it is naturally released more slowly to help you wake up and start your day.

Guayusa’s health benefits are very much the same as drinking other teas, but it is considered to have 50% more antioxidants and consists of a special blend of caffeine, theobromine, and theophyline which can help give you improved mental awareness and strength.
Recommended Usage:
Pour hot water over tea bag in a cup or kettle. Leave for 4-7 minutes or longer for a darker brew. Honey or other natural sweeteners can be added.
