Description
Sunfood has found this incredible Hawaiian honey from the Big Island of Hawaii and it is certified organic by the Hawaiian Organic Farmers Association. Our Lehua honey comes from the blossoms of the Ohia Tree, it is sweet and thick and cultivated with Aloha. This Spicy Lemon Honey is Lehua honey whipped with certified organic cinnamon, ginger and essential lemon oil. Great in coffee or tea!
The purest honey in the world comes from Hawaii. It is the only place on our planet where the honey bees have not been infected with mites. Give it a try and you will be hooked!
It's best to buy and consume organic honey, not only for our health but for the bee's too. Hopefully not too long from now, all bee keepers will be organic out of necessity.

| Benefits | Raw Honey is one of nature's richest sources of live enzymes, and contains over 80 different components important for human nutrition. Among these may be found many of the B vitamins, sulfur, phosphorous, iron, copper, silicon, and zinc. Raw Honey is high in antioxidants in its own right, and it also helps to defend the body against foreign bacteria while exhibiting anti-inflammatory effects. Raw honey is easily metabolized by the body and enters the bloodstream slowly, providing a steady source of energy. |
| Recommended Usage | Bee Pollen and Raw Honey are both incredibly nutritious on their own, but when they are combined the possibilities for true taste enjoyment only multiply. Here are some ideas to get you started on the path to Honey Nirvana! The synergies between honey and Cacao are almost too good to be true. Simply dipping a cacao bean into a bit of honey is enough to give one a glimpse of taste perfection. Alternatively, try mixing two tablespoons of cacao nibs into a jar of honey. When ever you need a boost, reach for this jar and feel your spirits soar! Honey is the perfect complement to any healing herbal tea, and it goes especially well with goji berries and camu camu. A small handful of goji berries, one teaspoon of camu camu, one teaspoon of Ambrosia..... mix in four cups of pure water and let steep for at least thirty minutes to allow the goji berries to soften. So simple, yet it tastes to good! Warm a jar of Ambrosia by placing it into warm water for a few minutes, until the Ambrosia becomes very creamy and flows easily. Drizzle this over cold, raw ice cream: the Ambrosia will harden slightly for a caramel-like texture. You'll have to try this one to believe it!
