Golden Chocolate Chip Cookies (Gluten-free)

No one says you cannot infuse your cookies with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory benefits. The secret ingredient is Golden Milk Super Blend. Golden milk is a traditional healing drink that’s been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. The combination of Turmeric, BoswelliaGinger, and Black Pepper that we included in this blend can help regulate inflammation and reduce bloating while helping you to feel calmer.

Whipping up a batch of the dough is quick and requires only a few ingredients. We’ve used almond flour instead of traditional all-purpose flour to make it gluten-free. We’ve also substituted sugar with maple syrup and couldn’t stay away from the chocolate chips. Let’s be honest, they make everything better.

The Many Benefits of Golden Milk Super Blend

1. Promotes healthy anti-inflammatory response

Curcumin, a compound found in turmeric, is the main ingredient in Golden Milk Super Blend, has been studied extensively(1) for its ability to help combat a number of health conditions, from Alzheimer’s to arthritis to depression, all of which have been linked to chronic inflammation.

2. May help ease achy joints

If you have achy joints Golden Milk Super Blend can help with that as well. Boswellia what we added to the blend helps balance inflammation, support joint health, and promotes optimal mobility. Another great benefit of Boswellia is that is can help support healthy lung function.

3. Supports your digestive health

Ginger is well-known for its ability to aid in healthy digestion. That’s why we added it to this blend. The studies have shown that ginger can speed up gastric emptying time(2), which can help reduce bloating and nausea. Another great benefit of adding ginger to your diet is it boosts your immune system as well as promotes healthy cell growth thanks to the antioxidant called gingerol.

4. Supports strong immunity

Traditionally, golden milk was used to treat common colds and coughs due to Turmeric’s antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties(3). We included Goji Berry Powder in the blend that contains VitaminA and C to give it an extra immunity-supporting boost.

5. It may boost your mood

Research shows(4) that turmeric has the potential to boost levels of mood-regulating neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine.
