These seeds are prized not just for protein, but for being a plant-based lipid source with a favorable Omega-6 : Omega-3 balance. Their mineral content comes from magnesium, iron, and zinc. Trace elements make them a go-to seed for micronutrient fortification. Because they are dehulled (shelled), they digest easily and leave no gritty texture.
Use them as whole seeds or lightly toast. These tiny superseeds are perfect in smoothies, sprinkling on oatmeal or yogurt, blending into nut milks, mixing into salads or grain bowls, or even baking.

These are the best. love them on cottage cheese especially. Full & complex flavor. Great easy protein source for me on busy days.
I was disappointed with the quality of this product. It had a granular, almost "gritty" taste, instead of the soft consistency of other shelled hemp seeds I've had. It wasn't very palatable.
The quality of "organic" products from China are highly questionable. I will no longer purchase Sundfood hemp seeds if the product is sourced from China. There are many alternatives to China -- why not use them?
