Description
Shilajit is an exceptional herb and adaptogen that is part of traditional Indian medicine where it is thought to be a key to immortality. Also known as “asphaltum,” “mineral pitch,” and “girij,” it is said to help remedy chronic conditions, speed recovery, and enhance all bodily functions for an overall sense of well-being.
Meaning “conqueror of mountains and destroyer of weakness,” shilajit comes from decomposed organic plant material from centuries ago, that has been preserved due to the sunlight and pressure of the Himalayas. This soft, heavy resin now oozes out of the Himalayan rocks and is soluble in water. Carefully purified before consuming, this brown powder contains 85 minerals including fulvic acid which is essential for transferring nutrients to your body.

- Shilajit for champions only :-) Review by Anarkali

It's difficult to say that Shilajit tastes good. However, I've found that it does indeed make me feel balanced and energized! (Posted on 4/5/12)Rating - Whoa Review by Faye

Very potent. It is dark brown and smells like smoke unlike some of the cheaper shilajit out there. I add a pinch or two to a smoothie made with cacao, banana, and mesquite for a morning pick-me-up. If i need a fast fix for clearing my mind, I will disolve a half teaspoon in my mouth, but I don't recommend this unless you need it. (Posted on 10/6/11)Rating - Whoa Review by Faye
