The amazing thing about Salad Booster is you can put on anything! Simply add to an avocado or tomato and munch away. The savory combo of spices in each Booster will enhance the simplest snack.

South Western Noodles, serves 2

1 bag kelp noodles, rinsed and chopped

1/2 cup chopped purple cabbage

1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped

1 avocado, chopped into chunks

1 green onion, chopped

1/3 cup olive oil

2 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

1/2 bag Vegan Cheesy Salad Booster

salt to taste

Mix all together.


Romaine Rolls

a few romaine leaves

Salad Booster, Vegan Cheesy or Original

2 spoonfuls of tahini mixed with 1/2 lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

salt to taste

Take a romaine leaf. Place 2 heaping spoonfuls of Salad Booster inside. Drizzle with tahini. Close leaf and roll up.

 

Green Cucumber Salad, serves 2

2 cucumbers, sliced thin

olive oil to taste

Original or Vegan Cheesy Salad Booster to taste

salt to taste

Let cucumbers marinate in salt for 5 - 10 minutes. Drain excess water. Add remaining ingredients. Enjoy!


Quinoa, Sprouted Lentils & Kale, serves 2 - 3

2 cups quinoa cooked with 1 cup sprouted lentils

1 head kale, chopped into ribbons

1 red bell pepper, diced

2 cloves fresh garlic minced

1/2 cup olive oil

1 Tablespoon lemon juice

1 bag Vegan Cheesy Salad Booster (or Original)

salt and pepper to taste

To sprout lentils: Place lentils in water overnight. Drain water and allow to sit for 1 day. Rinse and use.

Mix chopped kale with olive oil, lemon juice and salt, and allow to marinate for 10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Top with Salad Booster.


Original Green Collards, serves 2

4 - 6 large collard leaves, rolled and sliced into ribbons

1 cup purple cabbage, shredded

2 handfuls spinach leaves

1 bag Original Salad Booster

1/4 cup hemp oil

2 Tablespoons lemon juice

salt to taste

Mix collards with oil and lemon juice. Let sit for 5 -10 minutes to marinate. Mix remaining ingredients together.


Green Popcorn

organic popcorn, popped in coconut oil

olive oil or Organic Pastures raw butter, melted at low temperature

salt

Salad Booster, Original or Vegan Cheesy

Place Salad Booster in a coffee grinder and grind until and seeds have turned into a fine meal. Dressing your popcorn into olive oil or raw butter and pour on the Salad Booster. Salt to taste.

I already use it on salad and nori veggie wraps all the time, and now after reading this page, can't wait to try all the recipes above. Definitely recommend this stuff if you want a savory, nutritious boost to your salad. I love mixing it with the sprouted pumpkin and sunflower seeds from Sunfood too. Adds extra crunch because the booster is pretty powdery with just a slight crunch. (Posted on 6/25/14)
