    Q. Does Marine Phytoplankton contain Iodine and how much?

    A. Marine phytoplankton may contain trace amounts of Iodine that are considered to be negligible. Our testing results have not indicated any measurable amounts of Iodine.

    Q. Can I stop taking my other vitamin and mineral supplements? Does Oceans Alive provide all the nutrition I need to replace them?

    A. No. Oceans Alive is most beneficial to most consumers as an addition to their existing nutritional regimen rather than a replacement.

    Q. How much sodium is there per serving of 15-17 drops?

    A. There is approximately 12mg of sodium per serving.

  • SUGGESTED USE

    Marine Phytoplankton may be taken either on the back of the tongue or sublingually, two or more times each day, beginning with 2 drops at a time and building up to one dropper full (1/4 tsp). You may also mix it into your favorite beverage. 

    Some people who have fragile health can feel a big benefit from just one single drop and should slowly ramp up the amount consumed. Most people use 15 drops per day for maintenance. Others who are looking to overcome a health issue will take up to 75 drops in a day. Pregnant women will also take large amounts of Marine Phytoplankton to help support a healthy baby. 

    Most people enjoy taking Marine Phytoplankton when it is added to a glass of coconut water, their favorite juice or a small amount of water. Some people who are used to concentrated green foods will take it directly under the tongue; however for most people, this is quite strong. The more you spread the consumption of Marine Phytoplankton throughout the day, the more benefit you enjoy but it is easiest to take once in the morning on an empty stomach. It is important to consume it within a few minutes when you are adding it to juice. The sooner you consume it, the more benefit you will enjoy.
