    Q: Is this salt 100% pure? Are there any additives or dyes used?

    A: Yes, the salt is 100% pure. No additives or colorants are ever used. No iodization has been done.

    Q: Is this salt considered “raw”?

    A: Yes, no heat treatment of any kind is applied to the salt other than the friction generated by the milling of the salt.

    Q: Why is your salt not certified organic or non-GMO certified?

    A: Salt is not able to be certified organic because it is not something that is cultivated (a plant or algae) and does not require fertilizers, pesticides, or other chemicals. Nor does it have DNA and cannot therefore be genetically modified.

    Q: What is the source of the salt?

    A: The source is ancient sea beds which are hand-mined out of the HImalayan mountains in Lehore Pakistan.

    Q: Are explosives used in the mining of the salt?

    A: At the level of where the mining by hand takes place, no.

    Q: Have you conducted any testing for micro plastics and if so, what were the results?

    A: No, You usually find microplastic contamination of sea salts due to the pollution of our oceans. Salt sourced from the Himalayas and Redmond’s salt in Utah are both known for their purity, having been sourced from ancient sea beds that have never been exposed to modern pollution such as plastics.

    Q: Is the salt stone ground?

    A: No, our salt is crushed using steel blades. We do not use the stone ground method as that produces a poor quality product which has a bad texture and pale color.

I love this magnesium oil. It is a great way to get magnesium without the stomach irritation of pills and I can feel a difference when I use it. It is easily absorbed through the skin and doesn't have any strange odors. I highly recommend it.

I have used your Magnesium spray for several years. Due to a shortage I switched to another well-known national brand for a while and that brand left my skin feeling odd after using it. I switched back to Sunfood and am happy that after applying it, I am again not even aware it is there. Thank you!
