Whether you’re ‘shipped up or a proud member of the Lonely Hearts Club, Mariah from Fresh Water Peaches ’s Coconut Mango Candy Bars are sure to sweeten up your Valentine’s Day. Sweet mango dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with coconut is a superfood combo we are super passionate about. Sharing not required.


Filling Ingredients:

  1. Add dried mango into a heat safe bowl, and pour over boiling water. Let the mango soak for about 2 minutes, drain the water, and add to a food processor.
  2. Next, add in shredded coconut, honey, and salt. Blend until a thick dough forms.
  3. Press the dough into a silicone candy mold or a small baking dish. Place in the freezer for about 30 minutes to set.
  4. Add cacao paste and cacao butter into a heat safe bowl and microwave in 20 second increments in the microwave until smooth.
  5. Next, add in maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until smooth.
  6. Dip each piece of candy into the chocolate and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet or large plate. Repeat until they’re all covered!
  7. Top with extra shredded coconut, and freeze for about 30 minutes to set. If you pressed the filling into a baking dish, just pour the chocolate overtop and freeze until it sets. Cut into small bite sized pieces and enjoy!
