When did you realize you needed superfoods?

I realized I needed superfoods when I was in college. I had begun to learn about fitness and eating healthier. I always had a passion for health and this was the first time I could take accountability as I was no longer living at home. I wanted to take care of myself and keep myself healthy as long as possible.

What was going on in your world that caused you to come looking for superfoods?

At the time, I was in the middle of college and veganism and bodybuilding were becoming more popular. I think green juices and acai bowls were starting to gain traction at the time as well. I started to research superfoods that would aid in my fitness routine and also help me combat stress of school.

What ONE problem would you say Sunfood Superfoods eliminate or lessen for you?

One problem Sunfood Superfoods eliminated for me is having to search for and buy a bunch of different superfood powders separately. I like that I can trust the source of the superfoods (I always make sure they are organic). I like that they have blends which really helps and makes it convenient to add superfoods to your diet.

I normally add superfoods to soups, smoothies, and oatmeal.

What does a typical day in your life look like?

A typical day starts with my morning routine - I like to take this time to do anything I need to do for myself to feel good before I start work. This could be journaling, meditating, going for a workout, reading, tidying up the apartment, planning my day, etc. Then I'll make breakfast and head to work. Most of my day is spent at a desk so I like to break it up with a walk. When I get home I usually make dinner, and relax with a book or movie.

Any advice or messages of encouragement for others?

I love Sunfood Superfoods so much and I'm so glad I discovered this brand years ago. There's never been a better time to start and take control of your own health. Your health is not in society's best interests so you really have to take it into your own hands.
