Love Your Liver Burgers and Hemp Gravy

Savory and nutrient-packed, these raw "burgers" are easy to make and are a hit at parties and potlucks! We recommend doubling or even tripling the recipe so you can always have some on hand. The hemp gravy is also super delicious and can double as a salad dressing. 

Ingredients:

Love Your Liver Burgers -  (makes 4 med. sized burgers)

1/2 cup milk thistle seeds, soaked in water overnight
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds, soaked 2 hours or more
1 cup hemp seeds
2 large cloves garlic
1 tsp kelp granules
1 tbsp Kalahari salt
1 cup chopped tomato
1/4 cup chopped parsley
3 tbsp chopped fresh oregano
3 tbsp cilantro leaves

Place first 4 ingredients in a food processor. Process until well combined. Add remaining ingredients, and process until a nice dough forms. Shape into patties about 1/2 inch thick. Dehydrate at 120 degrees for about 4-6 hours. Serve with sliced tomato, sunflower sprouts, and hempini gravy (below).

Cosmic Hempini Gravy

1/2 cup water
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp barley miso
1/3 cup hemp seeds
1 tsp chopped ginger
2 tbsp tahini
2 tbsp Botija olive oil

Blend in a Vita Mix until smooth. Serve with "Love Your Liver" Burgers. Out of this world!
